Education has always been important to me. When I was little, I always wanted to play “school” and I would act as the teacher. I wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember but something inside of me shifted when I entered college and decided to change paths. It’s funny how goals may change but my heart is and always will be with education!
Like me, my husband, and co-founder, Nate, also understands the importance of education. He may not have loved high school at the time, but now Nate always makes it a point to be a lifelong learner through the books he reads, podcasts he listens to, and all of the post-secondary education he has completed.
Throughout undergrad we both relied heavily on student loans and financial aid to pay for our tuition. We hope that the scholarships we award will help ease some of the financial burdens students face when they pursue a post-secondary education. We also hope that we can ease some of the financial burdens that educators face by providing grants and supplies for their classrooms.
We look forward to supporting our communities through this nonprofit and hope to begin offering student scholarships in 2024. Please follow along to see all we accomplish!
